December CMMC Pick a topic

The photo for the Cee Neuner’s Midweek Madness Challenge (CMMC) from which to pick a topic has a green reptilian garden ornament. I immediately thought of a green reptilian souvenir brought back by a family member from a trip abroad.

May CMMC colour purple

The theme this week for Cee’s Midweek Madness Challenge (CMMC) is the colour purple.

The photo I have picked is perhaps at the blue end of the purple part of the spectrum. This month we had some very cold weather for the time of year and snow fell on high ground. My photo is of some of the Cumbrian Mountains taken from high ground near the coast using the Zoom facility on my camera.

Light green or neon green (CMMC Challenge)

Cee Neuner’s colour challenge for April is light green or neon green. (Cee’s Midweek Madness Challenge)

I tried all sorts of nature photos in advance of this colour topic. The photo I have picked is of new bramble leaves. There are still some old ones near the top of the picture for comparison with the new light green leaves. What do you call brambles? Blackberries grow on them.
