Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge (CFFC) Trains

Cee's Fun Foto Challenge badge with hay bales decorated with comical faces

I regularly took part in Cee’s Midweek Madness Challenge (CMMC)) for a long time. Now she is sadly no longer with us, blogger Dan Antion is hosting another of her challenges. This one is Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge. This week’s topic for CFFC is Trains and trolleys.

I am sharing two photos. One is of a passenger train. The other is of a diesel engine, which was an unusual sight. I learned later that it was being used for driver training purposes. Both were taken from the same footpath. As well as the engines, the change in the foliage as spring advances may be noticed.

Other pictures of trains on my blog may be found using the tag ‘steam train‘.

A green diesel engine is in the foreground with green fields and blue sky beyond.

A train with two coaches is partly obscured by a tree in the foreground, which is beginning to open its leaves. There are green fields both sides of the railway line. Blue sky.
