May 2022 colour Forest or dark green

Looking through my recent photos it was difficult to find any dark green. In the UK our deciduous trees mostly have new leaves of pale green. This photo for Cee Neuner’s midweek madness challenge (CMMC) is from our recent walk around Rydal Water and shows some dark green conifers.
