Carlisle has the edge (2 photos)

This week’s photo challenge from the Daily post is Edge.  I am posting two photos taken in Carlisle.  I took the first one from a pedestrian refuge while I waited for the  little green man to appear.  It was the flower beds and the light on the sandstone buildings, which had caught my attention.  The fact that I caught a corner of the railings was a happy accident – after all a corner is two edges meeting!

I took the second photo on the station with the idea of edge in mind.  There are edges of platforms, the top edge of the wall has been colonised by buddleia plants and this is one outer edge of the station.  Have I missed any edges in this list?
